What previous and current clients are saying

Two dogs, one licking the other, surrounded by Halloween decorations including skulls, pumpkins, and a skeleton.

When Nancy and I moved from New Jersey to Georgia 4 years ago,  we needed a Gastrointestinal Veterinarian for our older sibling Shelties, Bonnie and Clyde. We were referred to the VCA office in Peachtree City. At our first appointment, we were met by a vet tech named Nicole Delisle. We were understandably nervous about coming to a new state and leaving our vets that we had been very comfortable with. Nicole was everything we could have hoped for in our search for a new specialist office. She was enthusiastic and professional. Our pups took to her immediately! It was quite apparent that the affection went both ways. Nicole and our babies mixed together like peanut butter and jelly. One of the biggest concerns we had about moving to a new state was how Bonnie and Clyde would take to new caregivers. Well, Nicole managed to squash those fears in the course of one visit. We knew we had found our new crew.

Over the next few years, Bonnie and Clyde's heath deteriorated. Nicole had followed her boss to a new 24 hour emergency hospital. We made numerous visits to the new office and Nicole was always instrumental in guiding us through these uncharted waters. Her calm, reassuring presence was able to help us navigate the process of two aging dogs coming to the end of their lives. We knew she was suffering right along with us, but she maintained her steely professionalism right to the end. She was a great comfort to us as we dealt with the passing of Bonnie and Clyde. When we heard about her new business venture, Shelby's Gentle Paws, we were stunned at how natural it all seemed. Using her technical skills and her unending supply of empathy and communication skills, Nicole will make a terrible time in your life much more bearable. We say, with great confidence, you cannot be in better hands (or paws).
